Ed Percival

After fighting the punk wars with W.H. Smutt and The Chartham Method, Ed fronted Airbridge, one of the leading new wave progressive rock bands in the early '80's; singing, writing and playing guitars and keyboards.

The band released 2 albums and toured throughout Europe, including appearances at the Marquee and the Rock Garden and supports for such diverse acts as Marillion, the Waterboys and the Go-betweens. His claim to fame was the selection of one of his songs as a desert island disc by the author Malcolm Bradbury.

When not playing bass for X-sTatiC, Ed performs as Noddy Holder in Flamin’ Slade www.flaminslade.co.uk
